Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment to Accessibility

California Restoration West is committed to ensuring that our website, californiarestorationwest.com, is accessible to everyone — including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or display magnification tools. We believe that access to information about restoration services should not depend on a visitor’s ability to interact with a standard web interface.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the recognized benchmark for accessible web content. These guidelines cover a range of recommendations for making content more perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust across different devices and assistive technologies.

What We’ve Done to Support Accessibility

Our site is built with accessibility in mind. This includes structuring pages with semantic HTML so that screen readers can interpret headings, links, and content in a logical order; providing descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images; ensuring that color contrast ratios meet readability standards; and designing interactive elements — such as our contact form — to be navigable by keyboard alone.

We also avoid relying solely on color to convey information, and we aim to keep page layouts clear and consistent so that navigation is predictable regardless of how a visitor is accessing the site.

Known Limitations

We are a small, locally operated restoration contractor, and while we work to meet accessibility standards, we acknowledge that some areas of the site may not yet be fully optimized. Third-party tools or embedded content — such as mapping widgets or scheduling integrations — may not be entirely within our control and could present accessibility barriers we are still working to address.

If you encounter a barrier that prevents you from accessing information or completing a task on our site, we want to know.

How to Report an Accessibility Issue

If any part of our website is difficult to use, we encourage you to reach out directly. We will make every reasonable effort to address reported issues in a timely manner — typically within 10 business days of receiving a report — and to provide the information you need through an alternative means in the interim.

You can contact us through any of the following:

When reaching out, please describe the specific page or feature you had difficulty with and what assistive technology or browser you were using, if known. That detail helps us reproduce and resolve the issue more quickly.

Ongoing Effort

Accessibility is not a one-time checklist — it requires ongoing attention as the site evolves. We review our pages periodically and welcome feedback from visitors as part of that process. If you have a suggestion for how we can improve access to any part of our site, we are glad to hear it.
